News from the world of the reader
Good news:
Judging by the load on the library sync servers, we can conclude that a price of $1.5 for six months is optimal. A one-year subscription will then cost $2.5
The prices in the store will change when the update is released.
Not-so-good news:
As many have already guessed, things are heading toward the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 stores being merged in the near future. Up to now, the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 apps have been published from different accounts. We are now starting the process of bringing the apps under a single account. Unfortunately, apps with in-app purchases cannot be transferred from one account to another. So in the next Windows Phone 8 update, the option to buy a subscription to the sync service will be temporarily removed. Once the app has been migrated, this option will return, with the new price.
Update release timing:
The Windows 8.1 update has been submitted for certification. The Windows Phone 8 update will be submitted within the next few days.
